About

I'm a platform engineer (Platform Engineering / SRE) with over a decade building and operating systems in production — the last few years at a Brazilian fintech at scale (global payments group), where I built the organization's delivery platform and operated Kubernetes, observability and infrastructure as code in production.

My working thesis: AI Platform Engineering is the platform that serves AI workloads — the chassis (GitOps, Kubernetes, IaC, observability) already exists; the AI pieces are additive. It's that bridge, between a solid platform and applied AI, that I help teams build.

Experience

Now

Engineering & AI Platform Consultant — BrazilCo

Platform, SRE and architecture consulting, with a personal AI Platform lab: a GitOps/Kubernetes/IaC chassis evolving across 5 phases (observability → RAG → LLM serving → AI platform → progressive delivery).

Until 2026

Platform Engineer / SRE — Brazilian fintech at scale (global payments group)

Built the organization's delivery platform (~70 repositories, golden pipelines, OIDC) and operated multi-cluster Kubernetes (~100 nodes, 100% Spot), observability and incident response, and the 100% IaC Data Platform (~50 cloud projects) — plus the AI foundations: production ML lifecycle, LLM serving and RAG.

Before

Software & infrastructure engineering

A foundation in backend, APIs and infrastructure fundamentals across different contexts and industries.

Working philosophy

Each layer owns its scope

Infra doesn't make up for a code bug. A health-check that doesn't validate dependencies is observability that lies — root cause first, workaround later.

Simplicity is a feature

The best architecture is the simplest one that solves the real problem — not the most impressive. Complexity is justified, never assumed.

Decisions with explicit trade-offs

Every technical choice has a cost. My job is to make those trade-offs visible so the team decides with full awareness.

An autonomous team beats dependency

Good consulting is measured by the capability it leaves behind. I document, teach and build alongside — never in a black box.
